I am new to black bear baiting and am curious if any more experienced people can estimate the size of this nocturnal bear on the bait site.
My brother and I set up a bait in spring for the first time and got some action during the day and I ended up getting my first bear. My guess is it weighed around 180 to 200 pounds. We set up in the same area for fall to try to get my brother a bear and have had some bears on it but all have been nocturnal. Here is the biggest one we have, any guesses on the weight of it? If I had to guess I would say around 350 but I could be way off.
