Better Bino harness?

Looking for an upgrade to the basic vortex bino harness. Debating on Kuiu Pro or Badlands EZ. I can get good deals on these two so these are the options. Any opinions on which is better?

I have a Badlands, going in a family yard sale tomorrow. Bought a cheap vortex copy on eBay, it sucks too way to big a "bucket". Badlands was way to loud with the magnetic closure. I finally found one I really liked about two weeks ago. Bought a Kifaru that fits me well, tried on on store and fits my binos perfect as well. The quality and features are way ahead of the other two.

Bino harnesses are such a subjective item, internet reviews are nearly pointless. Everyone has their favorite and they may not be wrong that their favorite fits them better.

I’ve bought and sold a few bino harnesses in my search for my favorite. If I was forced to those 2 only I’d likely go Kuiu as I have had poor luck with Badlands products in the past.

Marsupial Gear or Stone Glacier. I had Kuiu and the harness attachments wore out pretty fast. I’m using the Marsupial now and like it much better.

I have a kuiu and my son has a badlands ez. The EZ does not have the magnetic clasp, it has a similar closure to the kuiu. The magnetic clasp models are really slim and efficient, and as some have said, do tend to be loud when not worked carefully. The kuiu tends to want to tip outwards when I bend forward. Which the badlands doesn’t do. The badlands shoulder harness isn’t as supportive imo. I’m thinking of modifying the kuiu shoulder harness to work with the badlands case. If you are out in the wild with all kinds of weather you will appreciate a cover that that fully covers the opening and that opens outwards. Vortex are good cheap covers but they open inwards creating a lot of interference to deploying the binos. Also the badlands has a convenient pocket on the back against your chest for your cell phone.

I've got the badlands ez, have used it for 2 seasons and no complaints. The back pocket carries a full sized 10mm and even with it and binos, I've not had any issues with the shoulder supports.

+1 for Marsupial. I had the basic Vortex one before that and really couldn’t hardly stand it. Bought a Marsupial last fall when I got a better pair of binoculars and I love it.

I have had a few, none I thought none of them were great, still have a Sitka but use the Rick Young more often!

I bought a Kuiu and then like a few weeks later they released the new pro version with the magnetic lid and connectors for extra pouches. Kuiu wouldn't let me trade up (not that they had to) so I'm a bit salty about it. But regardless my Kuiu's been good enough.

My favorite harness is no case, just a fabric flap to keep dirt from settling on the eye piece lenses. Nothing to open, nothing to close, fits like skin in a nudist camp, ultra compact, and perfectly quiet. Binoculars are build like a duck’s butt so a little dust or water isn’t going to hurt them. One day with a harness was a lifetime’s worth for me.

I’m noticing guys who should be using binoculars more, but wait to get to a “good spot.” Their pistol is exposed for easy access, but binoculars have to be opened up and fished out every time - seems the opposite of what makes sense. There must be some guys who feel uncomfortable even admitting they don’t want a harness, but all the cool kids have the latest one. Others must feel their choice of binoculars is so big they have to use an underwire bra or full harness to support it.

The world is full of options, so folks should get whatever gives them joy. For me it’s eliminating anything that requires extra effort or time in a repetitive task like glassing as you go.

I have a vortex glasspack pro that works great but I kinda wish I spent the extra $40 and got the marsupial

Got a picture of this program? I have a harness, but after running 3 or 4 top line models I haven't found one I love. Just decided they all have something I don't like and roll with the one I have now.
