Best mechanical broadhead

Just curious to see what everyone prefers for mechanical broadheads. 2 or 3 blade? Chisel or Cut on contact? Front or rear deployment? Penetration testing? Good or bad experiences?

My favorite mechanicals are NAP killzones.

Favorite Elk head is a Spitfire 125; 3 blade and 1 1/2".

Word on the street is that it was some contract thing and that they'll be back out at some point once the tweaks are made. Regardless, I stocked up on Camofire when they had them.

I have two unused and one used Ulmer Edge 125gr Stainless Steel if anyone is interested in them. $25 TYD without the packaging.

I've only used mechanicals twice.......the 125gr Spitfire was devastating on a big bull, while the Ulmer was not.

NAP spitfire. I like the trophy tips not the cut on contact tips.

Another vote for NAP Spitfires, I've been using the spitfire edges for years. I too like the trophy tips as opposed to the cut on contact. The spitfires excel in their simplicity, there's just nothing to go wrong on them.

I really liked the Ulmer Edge for anything besides elk (not that they can't work, or haven't worked I just prefer a fixed for that big of an animal)

But right now I'm experimenting with NAP Killzone's for anything smaller than an elk. Haven't taken anything with them, but they fly really well of course, and have stayed closed during flight on the same head I've been practicing with (over 50 shots) so I'm gonna try them out given the opportunity.
