Best Hunting Magazine (Print)

Each magazine regurgitates the same old crap over and over. Plus, half is ads. I don’t subscribe any longer. If I see them at the doctor, dentist or similar I may grouse through them. But, to buy any……NOT! MTG

My favorite periodical by far right now is Modern Huntsman. It has hunting/fishing content, but extends well beyond that and does not fall into the category of a traditional hunting magazine. It’s 200+ pages of high quality photography/print published 2x/year.

Project Upland is another relatively new kid on the block with beautiful photography and print. This gets a special recommendation for bird dog folks.

I still enjoy Bugle too.

May be biased, but Cat Hunter is top notch

I will forever be a fur fish game subscriber. But as far as western hunting magazines go. I really enjoyed Eastmans bow hunting magazine.

Eastman's and Bugle. Really good recipes, too (usually)

Alot of them are just ad's anymore. American rifleman just went paperless. Every publisher is looking to save a buck I guess. I don't like reading a computer screen, rather have a paper book or magazine. JMHO
