I am looking for a bivy to use with my paratarp and leaning towards the integral designs event overbag. Is there better options for the weight and price? I have used a piece of tyvec for a ground cloth but looking for more protection from wet weather. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have the raven Omni and my pad fits with a lot of extra room.

I fit either a BA IAC or the Q-core SL (mummy cut on both) in my ptarmigan with room to spare. If you are using the long/wide pads you would probably be better off with the Raven Omni zip. I would love the find a 25" wide mummy cut pad - it should fit perfect.

I have the Borah gear m90 side zip with net window 6.9 oz for $85 shipped. No complaints so far and its big enough for an air pad too.

I did some research on this also. Does it need to be waterproof or just DWR?

In addition to Ti Goat, two other compaines I looked at were Mountain Laurel Designs and Zpacks. I was looking for the lightest waterproof bivy and ultimately went with an MLD eVENT Soul at 13oz.

Although this article is a few years old, it was the best I found for a side-by-side table of all the bivy specs. Most of the info I checked seemed to still be accurate when I dug a little deeper.
