Maybe this has been discussed, if so, point me to the thread. What is the best scope cap option for the SWFA 3-15?

I put Butler Creek’s on mine. Size 16 ocular, size 30 objective. That’s on a Gen 1 but a Gen 2 should be the same. I don’t know if they’re the “best” or not, but they’re serviceable and they stay on.

Same, that's what I have on my Gen 1 3-15 and they are good enough to recommend. I have Butler Creek caps on all my SWFA fixed and variable scopes.

Hard to go wrong for $5 each from Primary Arms:
16 ocular
30 objective

I’ve ordered some from Amazon in the last few months for 3-9 credo. Both front and rear came in boxes of 6 for $9.99. Guess i’m all set if I break a few. I hate supporting them, but at the same time prime shipping saves a fortune to AK.

I always go overboard on scope caps so I got Aadland ones for my SWFA 3-15x42 I bought recently. I've been exclusively using Aadland caps for years now.

Vortex Defenders or what ever they call them and a zip tie around the rubber boot to hold them in place. Best scope cap I have found that does a decent job and doesn’t fall apart.

Makes perfect sense to me, if better caps were available I'd probably use them. I really like the Leupold Alumina caps but they aren't compatible with the scopes I choose to use anymore. What do you like about the Aadland caps?

They're bombproof, don't slip off, don't come open without me opening them, and have an extremely tight seal that keeps things out. I've been only using Aadland for about 8 years now other than the Tenebraex that came with my NF ATACR 7-35 which I may replace with Aadland down the line.

Another vote for Aadland. I still use Vortex Defender, etc. on cheaper optics. But for everything higher-end I have transitioned to Aadland.

I think I'll try a set of these, they look well designed. I like how they fold flat and out of the way.
