best budget pack new

I am looking for a pack for all day trips that can compress down to nothing or use up to a 5 day bivy. I have been thinking a kuiu, the horn hunter full curl system, or the sitka bivy 45. Please give me some suggestions on what is the best pack for me my budget is around 400.

Kuiu might be a good option with the sale they have going on. I think others will also recommend EXO too

You can pick up a used Duplex on here and buy a Cargo Panel. On sale now supposedly and then add a canvas or Kifaru stuff bag all for $400 right now. Don't hesitate.

Thanks for the information I will probably go with a used kifaru. I can get a bikini frame with a bag on it not sure which one for 300 from a guy I know is that overpaying?

probably not, though you either like the bikini or hate it. not a lot of middle ground.

Or get the new kifaru ultralight frame and attach a kuiu bag.

If 400 is your budget you might as well wait, 500 bucks can get you into pretty much anything you want.

if 400 is your budget I would look no further then a MR Metcalf at 415 you get a solid pack built to last. 415 is pretty hard to beat in my opinion.
