Berry ID?

I don't know much about wild berries, googled up lots of pics but the leaves don't look the same. Figured I'd just ask here.

First one looks like Oregon grape. Tart/bitter /tannany as hell.

Creeping Oregon grape (berberis repens), woods’ rose (Rosa woodsii), and kinnikinnick (arctostaphylos uva-ursi).

Seconding that the second one is a rosehip not a berry! They're good eating but you'll want to avoid the seed sac in the middle. So either cut them in half and "pit" them or just chew only the red away from the outside, then help propogate the remaining seeds.

Thanks yall. Yeah I'm not planning on eating anything just mainly curious and would like to do a better job educating myself on various vegetation. Right now anything that's colorful with stuff other than leaves makes an obvious target.
