Ive had this rifle for awhile now and had plenty of time behind it on the range to get comfortable with it, and took it on an alpine goat hunt in SE Alaska this year.
When I ordered it from my local FFL, in the interest of saving weight I had him order a leupold vX3 4-14.
Maybe it's my eyesight getting bad over the years, but im finding myself limited on shots past 300 yards with this optic given the capabilities of 7PRC.
Ive been thinking about upping the optic to a Leupold Mark 4HD 6-24x52 so I can move the VX3 to my rifle that I use for fall blacktail and bear. Im aware that I'll see an overall weight increase.
Curious as to what other options I should consider in that price range, moving away from vortex in favor of better performance.
