I have a nice savage LRP in 6.5 CM that shoots .3-.5 moa on average. The trigger is great and the stock fits me fairly well but not great. The weight is a bit on the heavy side. The Bergara HMR looks great, has a crappy trigger that creeps and the stock fits great. The weight is nice for this type of crossover firearm. I'd like to give it a go and replace the trigger right away but i'm wondering if the trigger is so poor, what's the rest of the firearm like? Anyone on here have both and an opinion they would like to share?

I’ve owned the HMR and have put several rounds through that Savage. I’d take the Bergara hands down above the Savage. Both were very accurate rifles but the Bergara was a lot nicer fit wise as well as cosmetically. Just all around a nicer rifle. I didn’t have any issue with creep on my HMR but that’s an easy fix anyways. Bergara is building a helluva rifle for the money nowadays
