Bergara 300 WM Factory Ammo

I purchased a Bergara Wilderness Ridge in 300 WM and I don't reload.

So far I have shot 9 types of factory ammo. The groups weren't even worth measuring. I'm not sure I got under 2 in on a single one. Rifle is broken in, has been cleaned to death for copper fouling. I've sanded the contact points and torqued to factory specs.

I'm an archery hunter and this is only my second big game rifle and I'm at a loss. I'm about to spend as much on ammo as on the gun but are there certain ammos that are known to shoot well? Its a hunting rifle so no point in match ammo.

Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Try Hornady ELDX. I was in the same boat with my 7mm mag Bergara. The trick is finding them!

Stop throwing money away chasing groups on a Bergarbage. Look up my thread on dealing with my B14 300WM that never shot until I took it to a gunsmith.

My advice: send it back to Bergara for warranty

Buy a Tikka and go shoot. Sell the Bergara when it comes back from BPI.
