Stopped in to Murdochs last night, they are clearing out the version 2 Steep Country for $68. Picked one for a gift. I have the first version, pretty nice knife. This should be also.

That’s a heck of a pick up! I also have the first version and once I had a sheath made for it I haven’t carried anything else. Definitely would’ve picked up a backup for that price tho

Hands down my favorite knife. At that price I’d have bought three for when I inevitably lose them.

The steep country is being discontinued is what they said. They only had a couple of them left, I went back the next day after thinking I should have bought all they had..someone else beat me to it.
