Benchmade steep country vs buck vanguard

If both knives are s30v, which would you go with and why? Really liking the look of the steep country.

I cant speak on the vanguard, but the Steep Country is probably my all time favorite knife. You cant go wrong with it. I should have the new updated model in within the next few days, but I dont expect the changes to be too drastic. I know the updated version has a better sheath, a thinner blade, a full flat grind and a change to the grip and ergos. Id say if you can still find the old model on sale, jump on it. Ive owned all of the fixed blades in their hunt line, and while they are really nice blades, I easily prefer the SC. And it is also the cheapest in the line up.

Vanguard is sexier, sc is more utilitarian. SC lives in my kill kit. I like the orange and grip.

I love my steep country. Just bought my son a hidden canyon for Xmas and might pick one up for myself as well. My steep country has broken down a pile of animals and I love it, i have one of the first runs and absolutely love it. Holds an edge well and sharpens back up quick and easy.
