Ordered an ez press last week and plan to build a bench in the basement, was thinking of putting it on an island with casters so i could access it from all sides. Is it worth doing this?, or should I just mount it against the wall on a fixed top?

Here’s a stand that I welded up at work. Same specs as the EZ stand on EZs website using 2” tubing with felt foot elevator bolts. Throw in a rattle can paint job and roll. It has worked out very nicely.

I live near my folks and use my dad's ez press which he's got mounted to a 90 degree steel bracket of sorts mounted on the wall at one end. The other side then wheels/rotates on a caster. So it can wheel just about 180 degrees. Very nice to have the option to move it around. Could certainly make due without that option, but it's handy to work on a bow no doubt.

My press is mounted to a 2x12. I set it on a table to use it, or put it in my vehicle and take it to my range to use it. If playing with yoke tuning you want it handy to where you are shooting. Same for shimming cams.

I mounted my press on one side of a harbor freight wood works bench . I roll it up against the wall when I don't need the press. My fletching jig is clamped to one corner and I keep my extra arrows and saw on the bottom shelf. Works good for me.

Looks like most have access to 1 side of the press,i guess there really would not be much of an advantage to have access 360°,unless im missing something.
