Belt to pack bag strapping?

Are the 2 straps that are currently running from the side of the waist belt, back to the side of the bikini frame, supposed to attach to the bottom of the bag at the bag ladder locks, or are they just additional attachment points?

Edit; I see they're attached to the bag when looking on the Kifaru site.

I had the same question. The reason for the redundancy with the hip belt stabilizer straps is for when you are not running the bag on the frame. Aron prefers to attach the straps to the buckle on the bag and not the frame. It definitely feels more stable that way to me when the bag is loaded up with a heavy load.

Yeah, they help with preventing the packs from flopping side to side.
