Unfortunately every bow balances differently so it is best to play around with lengths and weights to get the bow balanced right. I will say a 6" rear bar is a little short IME on the bows I've shot. I prefer 10" front and 8" rear to start, but again, it all depends on the bow. I currently have a 10"/8" setup on my Reign 7 and a 12"/8" setup on my Reckoning.
I just put the counter slide on after ditching the 10 8 configuration. My stabilizers were rattling off in the quad. Anyway I'm not sure I understand the point of the counter slide, or how to adjust it. It is nice and compact though.
I have a think a 12” counter slide I might be getting rid of I liked it but a full quiver or 6 arrows and other junk hangin off my bow it just seemed heavy with the counter slide and weights
I ran a front and rear stabilizer set-up for the first time this year but after my hunt this year I am switching back to the counter slide. It’s just a minimalistic feel to it.
I had used a bee stinger 8 inch in the front and a 6 inch side bar. At first was hesitant double stabilizers for hunting but it holds nice. But I just ordered a 15 inch counterslide and am excited to try it! might be a little more compact.
