Bear tag in northern New Mexico late Oct?

Picked up an elk tag in 52 for the late October 21-25. That late in the year would it even be worthwhile picking up a OTC bear tag for that area?

Bears will still be out unless something crazy happens this year.

Edit to add: I’ve bear hunted all the way into November with success.

Definitely worth having a bear tag in your pocket if you’re out there hunting elk IMO.
