Base for Winchester Model 70 264 mag

Looking for suggestions on base for my model 70 264 mag. I bought this gun with the scope in 1989. I’ve finally decided it’s time to upgrade. I’m looking for suggestions for picatinny base. What options are there for two piece base or if no good options what the best one piece picatinny rail for this model 70? Thanks in advance.

Are any of the pic rails actually better than the next??? Serious question but get one from a reputable company and you’ll be good.

I have tried several but lately I use Burris Xtreme 2 piece base.

Your Winchester 70 post 1964 long action should use Burris # 410605

like thinhorn AK noted, most any reputable brand should work.

The slot spacing and depth can vary on other brands - maybe commercial Weaver vs MilSpec Pic drawing dimensions ?

The Burris has worked well on several hunting rifles for me, so that is just my preferred now. regards
