Base and rings

I just picked up a Maven rs1.2 to put on my CA Mesa 6.5 PRC. 20” barrel and suppressed if that matters.

What base and rings would you recommend? I’ve used Leupold DD, Talley lightweight, and others in the past. Thinking about using a rail this time?

Primary use will be hunting whitetails 0-500 yards. Secondary use is targets out to 1000. Possibly will make an elk or pronghorn or mule deer hunt out west at some point.

I’d like to keep the weight down as it already is heavier than I’d like.

I like one piece Leupold Backcountry mounts. I like my scope as low as possible and there is less moving parts with these mounts. If you need mount cant to get to 1000 yards, you may need pic rail and rings.
