Barrett Fieldcraft in LH

Does anybody know if Barrett will release the Fieldcraft in left handed? This rifle really piques my interest. If they made it in left hand and a 6.5 PRC I would be ordering immediately.

Initially they were going to offer LH models, even had them in their website. Then they put it off, then it was next spring, year, etc. Currently I don't think there's any plans. They also don't offer a magnum BF in either ling or short action. You're pretty much asking for the offspring of a unicorn and bigfoot, the results would be interesting though.

I asked them a month ago and they said there are no plans at this time to offer a left hand version.

Tikka T3X Superlite sold exclusively at Sportsman's Whorehouse is as close as we are going to get....unless someone really knocks it out of the park later this month at SHOT Show. But I've not heard of anything cool in Lefty going to drop

I would buy one immediately too if they offered. I have bugged them before and same answer as LeftHunter. Would love to have one in 7mm-08.

The left hand versions are just under the general Superlite heading. You have to scroll through all of the right hand versions first.

Exclusive means......well.....Exclusive. You can get the Lites almost anywhere. The SW version wears a fluted barrel which saves a bit more off the total....if you're so inclined to chase every last ounce.

christensen is i think the only one i've seen in the $2k range to have some lefty's out on the wild (eurooptic etc), but they're only doing 6.5cm, 308 and a few others. if they or fierce had some lefty's in 300wsm out there, i'd jump on one of those. we'll see how my tikka t3x lite 300wsm that i just got does though, if it gets the job done, then i'm done, at least for now.

Bite the bullet and have a NULA built. It's the rifle the fiedlcraft came from.
