Anyone shoot the 300 ttsx out if 45/70 ?

Not 45/70 but 338 Win Mag. Love the Barnes TTSX round. 210 grain TTSX has quickly dispatched both AK Mountain Goat and BC Black Bear quickly with 1 shot and dead before they hit the ground. Using up all my old ammo so that I can switch/upgrade all my hunting rifles to TTSX.

I have not used the monometals in 45/70. I prefer cast. Everyone gets hung up on "Hard" cast. Not needed. I prefer 300-420gr wt class. WFNGC design 50/50 pure and COWW. Ignite over healthy dose of 3031 or Varget.

Current go to is a 350gr WFNGC with 50gr 3031. That nets me a velocity of 1890 fps out of my 20" Browning SRC and really nice accuracy.
