Badlands Summit reviews ???

Any reviews of the new Badlands Summit packs ?

I've done a first impression review but haven't had a chance to haul anything with it because I was sent a large and need a medium. I think it's definitely an upgrade from the 4500. The large weighed 6lb 5oz on my scale which is not the lightest pack for the volume but better than the 4500 by about 3 lb. the top lid can come off but is not a fannypack. The suspension felt good but can't tell until I get one in the right size.

Remember the summit still has the outdated a and problematic polycarbonate frame. IMO your better off buying a Kifaru or stone glacier.

From what I remember the stays looked a little different from the 4500 though made from the same material. I don't know for sure if they changed the stays slightly or not. I agree a kifaru would be a better pack, just not as easily accessible as Badlands.
