Would a Zeiss 10x45 range finding binoculars fit in the top compartment. Then I could use the actual range finder compartment for extra gear?

The inside dimensions are 6"H x 5.75"W x 4"D, but you can buy another inch of height by lowering the shelf. Those dimensions should hold most 10x42s and smaller.
