Wanted to share a bow I just finished. Normally my bows feature highly figured woods but for this build I wanted to make a 58" Camo bomb proof 3 piece built to take the rigors of the Backcountry.
The 13"riser with a sight window cut 3/16" past center was constructed using black/gold dyed stabilized(epoxy impregnated) Mango making it impervious to the elements with Phenolic accents for added strength. Brass bushings are used for quiver attachment.
Limbs are Double Carbon Foam core with phenolic wedges and limb tips. The Hybrid is extremely fast and stable shooting hunting weight arrows.
To finish the 58" 3 piece Hybrid off a Predator carry case to make carrying on a pack or horse easy.

Some very talented guys around. I cant imagine the satisfaction of harvesting an animal with a bow I made.
That is a beautiful bow. Good luck with it.

for me it doesn't happen too often but when it does it really makes you appreciate the moment, hard for me to explain.

For those that dont know Idahoelk makes one of the finest bows out there. They are incredibly smooth and they are dang sure fast. Mine shoots 182-183 fps on the chrony @ 10GPP. Its quiet and dang for sure dead in the hand because of the mass. Looks great Curt. I'll See you before you know It .
