B Anthony, the price of fame and fortune?

What’s the story? msn looks too much like it could be affiliated with msnbc and I don’t want to give them a click.

He shot 2 bears in the national park. Lied and said he killed them in a legal location 20 miles away. Then aired the footage on his television show repeatedly for a profit. Class act.

There was some big name guy, who’s faded into oblivion since this happened so I can’t remember his name, but back in the 90s he was hunting in Yellowstone Park, wackin Nice Bulls every time he go out.

But he was showing the terrain in his videos.

Do these guys think that no one else in the world goes to these places?

And this was before Google earth. They took him down hard.

The article says out of state hunters must be accompanied by a licensed guide, or kindred down to 2nd degree.
I dont think thats true for black bear, maybe that was just added
for effect.
And, I thought that Don Lewis guy was the one that was whacking giant muleys, not elk.
I may not know what I'm talking about, I'm getting old.

Yes, black bear hunting for NR do not need a guide. Also in the article , humans aren’t the only black bear predator. Browns/Grizzly will prey on black bears.

From Alabama!!:p
Makes us look like killers.
Way back in 1993, I was packed in on horses like 8 miles in Colorado Wilderness on a rifle hunt. I see this guy off-trail up on the mountain packing a muzzleloader. Jeans, plaid shirt, Rocky Boots, giant knife on his belt and all that.

I figured he was a local and had a horse tied somewhere close. Nope…

Big time southern drawl, out on foot for elk. Said he had some buddies at camp who can help pack if he gets one, like other years.

And out for a week all the way from Alabama.

As I rode away on my horse, I felt small and weak

Umm the Bear Whisperer is hardly famous and not making a fortune, something else is driving these folks!

Think I saw that D bag once when I still had a TV. Promptly turned him off!
