Hey everyone,

Been a while since I posted on here last, but was just curious if anyone knows of any zones that might have left over late season tags for muzzle or archery in AZ or NV for any big game species? I’m trying to find info on either website and there’s not a lot of info. I could be looking in the wrong area though. Preferably looking for anything December onward.

Also, open to AZ javelina tag. I know I missed the deadline application on it but these websites are so confusing. Trying to find out if there is any leftover tags

Definitely nothing but OTC mountain lion in NV. In NV tags sell out by late spring/early summer for all the non OTC big game species.

Not sure about AZ

Sorta figured that about NV just with CA and LV being over populated. Thanks for the reply

Hopefully someone can chime in about AZ

I just sent an email as well, I tried calling with no answer. Might be too early still. Hopefully they still have some. Ideally I’d like to get out near me to hunt at least once

They update the list daily, it's substantially lower than it was. This is what was left as of Friday.

In the application now

Only by mail. Leftovers are never available online. I know at some point in the process you can buy in person at a G&F office.

If you're an AZ resident you can get OTC archery deer for quite a few units in December and January also

I am a resident, I just don’t know where to find any of this info at all.. I’ve spent about 3 hours on the website and forums and keep going in circles

If buying OTC deer, make sure to check the unit status before heading out. Most of the northern units are closed, quota met.

Also, mandatory check in within 48 hours of taking your deer.
