I have an artic oven single pole tent and was considering swapping the pole out for the carbon fiber seek outside pole...saving this weight could afford me to bring my bow on a caribou fly in hunt....or maybe just some pizza 😁

Any thoughts ?? Is that carbon pole plenty stout?

I have a SO Redcliff with a CF pole. It has a much larger footprint but doesn't have that suspension hoop at the top (I guess single pole only means one pole touching the ground) that the AO does. I'm not an engineer so not sure how that suspended thingy would transfer lateral load compared to more of a teepee style tent.
Mine held up great in a Kodiak storm which was one of the old proving grounds for the old AO Arktikka. At another camp I know the gusts were measured at 40+ and it didn't seem as bad as on Kodiak. The pole did great on that trip as well.
The poles are 21mm and 23mm OD with a 2mm wall, I believe. With the 30" pack size of the AO you could easily make one using fewer pieces and less risk for failure points.

The suspension set up is nothing fancy, any pole with the correct od would work...I think
