So I’m a 30” draw length shooting 70lb draw Halon 6. My arrows are 30.5” long throat of the nock to the end of the shaft. I’m shooting ICS 300s with a 125gr point.

The bow is set up great and I have a very slight nock left tear in paper that I haven’t been able to tune out swapping top hats. I moved the rest about a 16th inch from center shot but it’s still slightly there and I don’t want to lose vane clearance along my cables so I ordered a dozen Easton Axis 5mm in 260 spine shafts.

I know from what I’ve researched that the 300s were in between being underspined and good to go.

I know a couple buddies that love the Axis arrows too. Any other thoughts before I get too far in the weeds with chasing arrow spine?

So, I usually end up 29 - 29.5" draw, cut my arrows short (carbon-to-carbon of around 27.5) and I know I'm just below "ideal" spine with a 300, shooting at 70-72lbs, but I am running 175grains up front between BH and insert. I think you're firmly in a 260 with that setup.

If you need to stiffen things up , you could shorten the arrows - generally you should be able to shoot 1.75" - 2" short of draw length depending on your rest and arrows.

I thought about that. I might try to cut down an inch and see how it shoots. I do like to tinker though. Lol!

Archer's Advantage also agrees that you could cut your arrows down and get "better" results. Here is a comparison for you. I guessed at the rear end of the arrow and put AAE max stealth vanes and no wrap, with an easton G nock.
