Bought for my son, he's now stationed over in England for 3 years. Too snug for this fat guy or I'd keep it. Down warmth, ultra light weight, great hood. The later generations feature a heavier shell, this ultralight shell wlll occasionally show a down feather through. It has happened twice, You just sort of pinch the feather end thru the shell, pull it back in, and I put a dab of Tenacious Tape on the spot JIC. You'll (barely) see the tape - right shoulder blade, left rear armpit..I will include the roll of Tenacious tape in color.
Great Backcountry piece - not a chore jacket.
