Would any of you guys recommend a outfitter for archery elk next year?
I'm trying to find a hunt for my dad and friend, preferably private land.

They are looking more for opportunity to take home antlers and meat, rather than some 350" bull. Just curious if you know of any good places.

Thanks!

Lots of different options when you go that route. Depending on whether they want to play the draw game or get guaranteed tags (landowner generally) and what their budget is is going to impact what state(s) to recommend. If they are sensitive to elevation and climbing, that may make a difference also. Probably looking at New Mexico (landowner tags), Colorado (landowner or OTC) or Montana ("draw" or leftover). Idaho is an option also. They need to figure budget, type of hunt (on foot, vehicle or horse), tent or lodge, etc. and then someone may be able to direct you a little better.

Check out Outdoor Internaltional at gothunts.com they are one of the best hunting consulting firms on the internet. They have great outfitters and are a great bunch of guys to deal with.

I book hunts for a couple of ranches here in Oregon, either guided or access only.

Both are OTC with lots of elk on them. (I've hunted both and will vouch for the quality)

If your interested, pm me and we'll get in touch.
