Because of my chosen profession I haven't archery hunted for elk in 7 or 8 years because the season falls square in our harvest period. Before this archery was my favorite way to chase elk. This year harvest looks to be at least a couple weeks later leaving the chance I could slip away for a couple days. I have a 4th season bull tag but am thinking I may pick up a OTC archery Cow tag as a B tag just to get out in the woulds with my bow. Do people's tactics change when chasing cows only? What are some of the strategies I should look to use? I have already wrapped my head around the fact that even if I only go for one day I am sure a huge bull will show up because I will only have a cow tag. Cheers
