AR-15 in .224 Valkyrie : Yep, it shoots just as pretty as it is. And this thing is full of features for the price. There is a 22″ stainless fluted Wilson Arms barrel and bird cage muzzle break. This rifle gets the exclusive Vortex Sonora 4-14x 44mm. To keep it steady, we’ve added the front bipod. I find that the combo of the sight, the trigger, the scope and the stock are the tools that you need to really make an accurate long range shot. These will get you out there, and I love the offset mounting so that it stays above the upper receiver, yet gives you room to grab the charging handle There is an Anderson 5lb curved trigger and an over molded grip. There’s a padded stock for when you let that Valkyrie cartridge go at your target (Coyote Beware!!!) so you can shoot all day long. And as an added little extra, the left side of the upper is engraved with “.224 Valkyrie” so that you don’t mix this up with your other, more common, rifles. All of this adds up to a really fun, accurate rifle. All of my AR-15 guns come with a new 10 round magazine (because that is what I can find). As an FYI, I have an ex Marine Corps marksman that shoots all of the guns that I build with 6 shots to prove that they cycle and work. We were shooting it this morning, and it had every bit of the shockwave that a 308 did. I try to get close on sights, but final sighting is up to you.
