SOLD I have too many of these and need to sell some. This is a great option to consider for treestand hunting with stealth, security etc. If you have trees you return to but want to remain incognito or not allow others to climb up, this is a great option. Just "pin" the trees with the bolts. When you come in to hunt just pop on steps as you climb. I have many trees pinned and usually do it in the spring with an impact driver and then mark on my GPS. A passerby will not notice the bolt heads. On stands where I leave a treestand up, I put 5 or so of these on the bottom that can be installed with feet on the ground. I then use conventional screw in steps the rest of the way. Thieves or other cannot climb up without a ladder etc.
Very cool lightweight option. A fraction of the weight and bulk of climbing sticks.
Bolts are readily available online. 12mm magnetic driver bit works great. ($5 online)
Selling 2 sets of 8 steps, 8 new bolts and a hand tool. $60 per set
(there is an ebay listing for just 4 steps for $60!)
