Apache gun case

I picked one up yesterday after another member posted a $30 off coupon. So far I am impressed with it. I am trying to decide if I want to try to pull apart foam blocks or just leave them. I am leaning towards leaving it after seeing I could still close the case with my rifle in it. The foam on the inside of the top lid is also not attached. Has anyone tried double sided tape or some adhesive to get it to stick.

The case is great but the pull foam will fall apart regardless if you pull them out or not. I had extra insulation foam board that I cut out for the gun forms

I purchased the Magpul DAKA Grid for Pelican 1750. It works in the Apache 9800 perfectly. Only down side is my prs rifle does not fit in the case now because the rifle is too thick. All my other guns fit though!

Another negative is the cost, it’s more than the case itself. Other than that, it’s a great upgrade.
