So I went away from the bladder and just running a 32oz Nalgene bottle. The only problem I have is the sloshing noise that happens when the bottle is not completely full. Does anyone have any good way to quite the sloshing?

Thanks

Keep it full, empty it al the way or move slower when it is partially full. 😄 That's all I can think of. I knew a guy that keeps a 20 ounce mt dew in his cargo pocket. He uses that to gauge if he's moving to fast or not. If he hears it sloshing he's moving to fast.

That guy is a Nalgene Ninja!

Yes , there's a baffle made to fit the Nalgene bottles. I'm not home now where I have it bookmarked but I'll try to remember to link it later if someone doesn't do it before then.

Back in the ding dong valley in '66 a platoon Sgt. Would have had your hide for walking around with a half full canteen.

i switched to soft flexible canteens so when they are half empty you can squeeze the excess air out of them and then cap it. Takes up less room and no sloshing.

Not sure how you're carrying it but keeping it upright helps.

I carry a couple liters in an MSR dromedary and a nalgene or gatoraide bottle to drink out of. The gatoraide bottles are quieter.

That baffle looks interesting.
