At one time, the 30-30 was considered a high-powered, high-velocity cartridge. No telling how many bear, elk, pronghorn and muleys the old round accounted for.
I'm curious if anyone today uses the 'ol 30-30 for any such critters, in the Western U.S. And if so, why?
