Anyone have experience with KAW Valley Linear Compensator on .300 WM or other magnum caliber?

After my shoulder surgery I have developed a flinch shooting my .300 WM. Both of the guys I hunt with have significant hearing loss from years of shooting rifles with muzzle brakes. Seems like you can never find your ear plugs when the bull decides to walk out and pose broadside. Will be ordering a suppressor but I doubt I'll get it by October 15th so am considering ordering a KAW Valley Linear Compensator for $65 shipped to see if it helps a little with the recoil. Don't want a traditional style brake, too much noise and blast to the side for my local shooting range and my hunting partners. If you have a traditional brake on your rifle my local range makes you go all the way to the far side of the range where they have one or 2 benches designated for brakes and they are usually in use.

so this is an old post but did you ever test out the linear compensator for your 300 win? I am in the same boat as you

I was please with the linear compensator on my .300wm. It seem to help keep the muzzle down and reduced the effect of the muzzle blast. I just had the barrel cut and bought a suppressor. If you want to buy my compensator I'll sell it to you for $30 shipped.
