I have a one year old set of Arteryx rain gear. It made three trips to BC last year. Performed extremely well. However, on the last trip it left with one hole in the pant and one in the jacket. I tried patching with gear tape. It did not work well. If you have patched and been satisfied, please let me know what you did.

Did you try reaching out to arteryx? I would assume that gear aid tenacious tape and aquaseal would do the trick.

The real fix is a legit seam-sealed patch. A repair place like rainy pass repair or similar does this all the time, it’s their bread and butter.
The alternative is a glued repair-tape type of patch. It wont last nearly as long if you use the jacket a lot, but it’ll keep the jacket functional and can be replaced as needed.

I have used tenacious tape and seam sealer on an Arc’teryx jacket that has held up for a few years. It is coming loose on one edge. I keep thinking I’ll pull it off and do it over or cover it with one of the earth tone patches.

No, that is the obvious thing to do but never have time during the day. Will make it a point to call.

What type of seam sealer do folks use?

I sent them my jacket and they did a great job patching it

Arcteryx repaired a midlayer jacket for me and it was great. I'm sure they could fix you up.

I can't remember if they charged a fee or not. Worth it regardless

Definitely recommend getting Arcteryx to inspect, great company with best in industry repair service

I've sent several jackets into Arc'teryx for repair and they have always done a great job- one time they did tell me the jacket was beyond repair and gave me a refund (not a use/abuse issue- ALL the seam seal on the jacket came undone within about a 2 week period)
