Hey all,

I'm getting a bit anal about how much everything is weighing. All the gear seems like a good idea but damn, I've got to start cutting weight somewhere. Does anyone have a gear list in Excel? I'd like to be able to add all of my gear into that list to see what the indvidual and cumulative totals are.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,

Josh

Take a look at geargrams.com

It's free and works very well. You can create multiple lists of gear etc.

I guess I'm kinda nerdy but I have a spreadsheet for almost everything I do! It's my favorite piece of software. Have one for my bow tuning data also.

Guys I appreciate it. I know I'm late to the party but I've always figured out what I need to take and haven't really thought about the weight. That needs to change and I think an itemization of the weight will help me do that. I'm going to play around with each to see which works best for me.

Thanks again everyone

I have my own but am interested to see everyone elses..... If you guys dont mind sharing....

I dont have each piece weighed out, I have the stuff sacks/pull outs weighed with them set up how i like them..

The one that SHTF shared is the one that I made. Having it on dropbox like that is way easier than emailing it to everyone.

Josh, I use geargrams, it's free for now...Least I can do for a fellow Texan!

I need to update this list with all of the little misc things like batteries, and lighters, etc.

Guys thanks again for all the help. I've played with spreadsheets over the last couple of days and larryschwartz's really captured what I was looking for. I'm still going to check out geargrams.

I'll be happy to send these sheet's to anyone that asks. They all work very well.
