Any Updates Needed to Shoot BH209 WIth Older T/C Triumph?

I haven't shot my muzzleloader in years but would like to get back into it and would like to try some BH209. Is it ok to use this rifle with the BH209 and do I need to upgrade anything (such as the breech plug) to do so?

You’re good with a TC. It’s many of the CVAs that need an upgraded plug.

Make very sure you clean out the carbon in the flash channel with a 1/8" drill bit by hand. The Triumph plug is quite long. Once it gets much carbon in it you will have problems.
