My story:
Quick onset last fall constant back pain with weakness, numbness , random sharp pains all throughout hips and legs. Occasional pain and weakness in arms, constant cramping through thoracic ribcage area.
Am on second mri so far, lumbar and thoracic. Lumbar found 3 bulging disc, and faramonial narrowing in one. Doc Didn’t think it was causing symptoms. 2nd mri was thoracic, found herniated t6-7 and thoracic cord syrinx most evident at t5-6.
Next mri scheduled, thoracic with contrast this time.
I’m starting to struggle with the possibility of this diagnosis, last summer was running around with my 2 yo gsp and now can barely do what work requires or even stand to pee without legs feeling weak. Trembling and numbness in hands. Trimming the plants in the yard today made me have to lay down, last year I was building a greenhouse no issues.
Anyone gone through something similar? Thoughts from any docs would be great!
