Never posted on the photo thread before - so be gentle with me! Looking to upgrade my camera (or my "big" camera). Have an old Rebel XSi with both the kit lenses and looking to step up. Intrigued by this new Canon as I'd like to go full frame, but really can't see myself lugging anything a whole lot bigger than the Rebel on backcountry trips. I realize its a bit of a compromise camera, but the size and price point and being full frame mirrorless are attractive to me. Was thinking of it with their new 24-240mm zoom (which I fully realize is also a pretty big compromise lens) and, perhaps to start with, adding the new 35mm prime to go with it. I've never had any expensive equipment but, at least imo am a pretty experienced amateur photographer. Started out as a kid with a Pentex k1000 (if anyone is old enough to remember those!). Any thoughts advice are appreciated.

We have sold a lot of these. GREAT camera. Super sharp lenses, the ability to use every Canon EF mount lenses on the market, lots of great features. Fantastic for wildlife with the, over 4500 AF points. Very fast AF and the tracking AF is dead on.Compact for a full frame camera and BEST of all special pricing for Rokslide members. I am in today from 8-6
By the way, I rocked a Pentax ME Super SE in the early 80's. Had an Olympus OM-1 before that. Still get K1000's traded in. The kids love them for film photography classes.
