I didn't draw a tag this year, but my friends have all done well in eastern Montana. Depending on where you are hunting you may see very wet conditions for a few days.
Folks are doing alright. The opener scattered them as usual and they are finding them a little deeper into less roaded terrain. Sitting back tagless this year I got a few updates so far.
Glad to hear it, where I was at in south central it was tough going, lots of hunters and not many antelope, having only a little over 2 days to hunt I was happy to shoot the youngish buck I did.
Montana district 338, opener buck but I had been watching him for a month and a half. Green score of about 74. He was 14 inches up each beam with 4.5 inch prongs.
