Any feedback on the Lowa Innovo?

Anyone tried the Lowa Innovo? If so, how is the fit? These look interesting...I'm wanting to move to a lighter less stiff boot that will maybe breathe and dry better. After watching and rewatching the Exo Mtn Gear podcast on boots, their thoughts and approach really make sense (lighter, less stiff, more synthetic, with the understanding that these types of boots do not have nearly the durability and long-term waterproofness of a heavy, stiff full leather boot)

These aren't the cheapest for the style, but REI sells 'em...and if you wait for a member sale the price wouldn't be too bad and you could take advantage of the REI return policy if they don't work out...

I don't have the Innova but I have 2 pairs of the Innox. They seem fairly similar so I'll throw in my 2 cents.

I purchased a pair for the outdoors probably 4 years ago and still run them hard. They used to make a "civilian" version. I've used them for everything from hunting in the Midwest to mountain backpacking with a heavy pack. They are lighter and more flexible than traditional mountain boots. I really like them and they have held up great. I now have purchased a pair of their innox tf for use at work (I work in public safety) and have worn them full time for about 2 years. They are still are going strong and I plan to replace them with the same pair next year. I have no problems with water proofing on any of my pairs.
I now also own the Camino Evos and those have been excellent boots for me too. I think Lowa makes some of the best boots in the world and I'll continue to buy from them as long as their quality stays the same.

Yeah definitely wouldn’t work for me…I need something wider. The Innovo probably wouldn’t work either then
