An easy sew project for beginners

I needed something to work on to distract me from the work that I actually needed to be doing. This serves no real purpose but looks kind of cool. This is some fabric i salvaged from a pair of vintage pants I had. I have used it previously in a project i posted here. Very simple project for a first timer to tackle and build some confidence on sewing and pattern making.
