Looking into planning a brown bear hunt to see if it's something that's actually possible for me. I'm curious as to where the best brown bear hunting is in north America. Is there still places in Alaska where non res can shoot two,? What kind of price tag is this hunt gonna carry? Im looking to strictly bowhunt. Any recommendations on guides/outfitters welcome.

Well, your non-res. license is going to run you $160.00 and you're locking tag will be $1000.00. As for opportunities, not to sound snarky, but www.adfg.alasla.gov is your best friend. http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=huntingmaps.byspecies
They're hunting maps section will give you an idea of units that require registration tags, draw tags, or general season tags. I recommend poking around there a bit.
As for outfitters, sorry, can't help there. Too rich for my blood, LOL!

Good luck! be careful, you might get here and never want to leave!
