I dont have a maverick, but I had APR spin up a barreled action for my wife last year. Used there APR gen 2 action with a bartlein #3, and an AG composites stock. Pretty comparable parts to the maverick. Shoots factory bergers under .5 moa. I could hesitate buying from APR again.

I just weighed it at 9.6lbs. But that's with a leupold vx 5hd and seekins precision rings. So bare it's close to 8.2lbs.

Fantastic rifles. Excellent communication, great customer service. Zero complaints. Best value going in a semi custom rifle. APR has put a lot of thought into those builds.

Mine weigh 6.5-6.8 lbs but they are short actions. Perfectly balanced and great handling. I’ll take that any day over a super light rifle.

I have an APR in .28 Nosler. Proof Carbon, Stiller Predator action, AG Composite stock. Haven't worked up a load yet (and the way the factory stuff shoots I might not!), but it shoots factory Hornady inside of 1/2 MOA. It's a nice build. I couldn't believe the value they offered compared to everywhere else I looked.

Anything APR does comes highly rated and recommended. Search around online and I think you'll see this. I'd say buy with confidence...

Bought an 300 WM APR TBH group buy tier 1. It’s a laser with Berger 215s. They put together great rifles at an awesome price point. Highly recommend Alamo.

APR built me a 280ai last year with an early TL action, proof barrel and Mcmillan. Great work, reasonable rates, and quick turnaround. I would definitely use them again.

We have 4 rifles from them. Love everyone of them! Great people as well! Was planning another build but found out one of our pups has cancer a couple days ago and my rifle fund will be going to him.

Its not a Maverick but APR built me one with an APR action with a 24" proof dropped in a AG stock. Love it so far. Shoots around a 1/2 with minimal load workup. Been on steel past 1300. Easy to shoot well. APR was awesome to work with! Handled my changes like pros. 00100dPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20190731175335696_COVER.jpg

what stock and how much does it weigh without scope?
It's an AG composites Alpine Hunter. I'd don't think I ever weighed it actually. But it's about 7-7.5 lbs wit the rail if I remember correctly from the build sheet.

Fairly light for a big comfy long ranger, but it's no feather weight. Feels light to me I guess. Balances very nice wit lighter barrel than my last rifle.
