Aging deer by teeth?

So you can have it done, I want to do it my self. I can grind a tooth and look at it under a microscope. I need to know were and what I am looking for. Any help or where to find it would by nice.

Id imagine preparation of the sample - i.e. thinly slicing the tooth to analyze is going to be the most difficult part of the process.
