Affixing Jim White adapter plate to my ATX

I just bought an ATX and a Jim White panhead and I'm not happy with how the plate affixes to the ATX foot. There is no pin to keep the plate from turning on the foot. For those that have this combination what is your solution ? I'm currently thinking a dab of silicone between the plate and foor when I screw them together and loctight on the threads would do it but if someone has a better idea I'm all ears !

Thanks ! I now have the spotter and binocular set I have been dreaming of. I sure can't blame poor optical equipment for any failure .
