Advice on next Air Force Base

I'm at Malmstrom. It's a great place for the most part. I'm from Guam so a small town feel is appreciated. Haven't really got into freshwater fishing but your right next to the Missouri and a lot of rivers are pretty close. I love to hunt out here and am making my next base of preference based on elk hunting haha. I would prefer to stay here another 3 years, but big AF wants to PCS missile officers every 3 years, so FE Warren or Minot are my only other two choices.

You need to go to FE then if elk hunting is your priority. Once you get your residency established, all limited entry units are a random draw so you don't have worry about pref points. And if you don't draw a le tag, you can buy a general tag over the counter. And you can hunt wilderness in general units that non residents can't. And you can archery hunt and then rifle hunt if you don't fill your tag in archery. And there are a ton of elk. And there are a lot of big bulls. And you probably get the point by now.

I just left Ellsworth and I second Jmez in that Rapid is a nice little town. I would personally be putting in for any CO base or Fairchild. But being from MT originally I would kill to be stationed at Malstrom. Unfortunately after my year here in South Korea I am getting stationed at Dover, DE. Your wife would definitely like the amenities better in CO and with being medical you have at least 3 options for bases. The Academy is amazing and has hunting right on base.
